Koc University School of Medicine

Our faculty was established with the notion of creating new aspects in teaching of medicine. We are aiming to raise medical doctors who give particular importance to research, generation of unchartered knowledge, and contributing to public health and wellbeing.

Our education program, which is designed to educate physicians and scientists who are devoted to combating the health problems of society and people, open to lifelong learning and development, and will guide the future in the field of medicine with its researcher aspects, is evaluated and developed every year with up-to-date knowledge and methods.

We aspire to train physicians who will contribute much to the national and international scientific world with high level basic, clinical, and community-based research; who are to apply up-to-date diagnosis and treatment methods; who have a high level of medical knowledge and behavior skills; who master advanced medical technologies and know the methods of accessing information; who are able to communicate well with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and patients; who are ethically conscious, capable of teamwork and exhibiting leadership qualities; who can recognize the society in which they live and are sensitive to global health problems who closely following developments in science; and who able to provide the highest standards, evidence-based, quality health services to society.

The first three years of education take place in our Rumeli Feneri campus. The following years of medical education which concentrates on clinical skills education are actualized in Koç University?s Training and Research Hospital in Topkapi.
