The Official University Master''s in Public Health and Health Management is aimed at training professionals in the field of public health (epidemiology, health surveillance, health promotion, disease prevention, preventive medicine, environment and health, health labor, food safety) and health management (health planning, health service management, health economics and macroeconomics, health microeconomics).

Objectives of the master:

Provide the professional who wishes to carry out their work in Public Health and Health Management with the current knowledge, skills and practices that this field requires in a multidisciplinary context.

- Train students to describe, analyze and interpret health problems.
- Facilitate knowledge of strategies for health promotion and disease prevention.
- Master technical aspects for health protection (including food safety, occupational and environmental health).
- Articulate the basic knowledge in Hospital Preventive Medicine and in complementary aspects of this field of specialization.
- Know and have elements for the planning and management of health services.
- Develop, interpret and adequately apply research in the field of health.
