Patrimony of CEFPAS - body with legal personality and public law - is the expertise gained in the field of Education and Public Health that combines cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to support learning, excellence and the dissemination of best practices in in the field of Education and Public Health. To date, the Center has built more than 11. 000 training days, registering more than 200,000 attendances and involving healthcare professionals in multi-module activities, training courses and Masters in residential, in-house, FAD and blended learning modes. Since 2010, the Center has also been an ECM Provider for e-Learning and provides online courses on its own platform.

An important asset of the CEFPAS are the continuous, interactive and advanced training programs for healthcare professionals created through the use of simulation, which implements healthcare procedures and protocols "never for the first time on the patient" through CEMEDIS (MEDIterranean Center for Simulation). Interest in these techniques has progressively grown in relation to the improvement of the equipment and technology available and to the widespread appreciation of the training methodology among healthcare professionals. The simulation has in fact proved to be a highly effective training tool that allows professionals to repeatedly try approaches and maneuvers with the possibility of making mistakes, grasping the consequences and reflecting on their behavior without any risk for the patient.

CEMEDIS has the most advanced technologies by having high fidelity simulators of adult, pediatric and obstetric patients connected to a system that allows the recording and review of the procedures implemented by the participants during the simulation. The control rooms and the rooms for practical exercises complete the equipment of CEMEDIS. All didactic scenarios are designed to reproduce realistic contexts and as close to reality as possible. Since 2018, CEMEDIS has also been home to training activities accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
