School of Medicine

The School of Medicine, established with DR n. 51420 of 19 December 2016, promotes, organizes and coordinates the teaching activities of the Medical Area, in compliance with the University Statute and Regulations.


The following Departments of the Medicine area participate in the School:

Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery

Department of Surgical, Medical, Molecular and Critical Area Pathology

Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine

The School coordinates:

21 study courses belonging to the three Departments of the Medicine area:15 Degrees, 4 Master''s Degrees and 2 Single Cycle Master''s Degrees.

From an administrative point of view, the courses of study in the medical area belong to the three Departments, but the teaching provision is transversal and the teachers teach in all courses regardless of their belonging to this or that department.

The School is therefore the structure within which the problems connected with the training of the doctor, psychologist, exercise science and sport professionals and other figures related to the health professions, as well as those resulting from welfare functions, are discussed and coordinated. .
